Born and raised in Indiana, Tom got his start helping re-elect President Obama as campaign filmmaker based in Ohio.
Since then heβs produced ads and short films for nonprofits, corporations, and Democratic candidates running for everything for President to School Board. His work has racked up millions of views, won a Webby Award, and won a handful of Pollies.
In 2015 his documentary feature One Day In April premiered at Cinequest film festival.
He is currently developing Finding Borinken a documentary feature exploring the colonial relationship between the United States and Puerto Rico.
Tom lives in Chicago, IL with his wife and their two dogs. He is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Journalism.
